Toffee Caramel Squares
I won a cookie exchange with this today. As others stated, I doubled the filling and put in a 9 x 13 pan. I let the caramel cool just a couple of minutes and then poured the chocolate chips on top. After a few minutes they melted and I spread them. I put in the refrigerator an hour and then cut and put back in the refrigerator overnight. They are very rich, so small pieces are perfect.
