Hearty Italian Sandwiches

Yum! I am not a huge fan of Italian sausage so I added in hot breakfast sausage in its place. I added about 2Tbs of tomato paste, sprinkled in some Italian seasoning, and stirred in some garlic. After it had been simmering for a couple of hours my husband and I felt it might be a little dry so we added in a little beer. This recipe will definitely be a keeper!

General Tsao's Chicken

This recipe was fantastic. I went ahead and used the full amount of cornstarch for the sauce, and I agree that it was probably too much. I had to add a good bit of water to it to thin it out some. I also used dried red pepper flakes instead of the whole chilies. But again, this is definitely going to be in my repertoire from now on. My husband was so impressed (he loves Chinese food)...he said he wanted to marry me again. :)

Land of Nod Cinnamon Buns

Really delicious recipe. I took it a step further and dipped each roll in melted butter and then rolled them in the sugar mixture. Yummy! I also placed mine in a tube pan since many people had the problem of them rising out of their bundt pans...this worked like a charm -- a perfect fit.

Dog Food Dip

Dirt Cake I

This is such a delicious and easy recipe! I only used one stick of butter and it turned out great. I served it in a cute flower pot with some fake flowers on April Fool's Day and my husband had no idea until I stuck the spoon down in it that it was fake.

Cheddar Beer Triangles

Love love love love these! I whipped these up with some chili, and my husband and couldn't believe how tasty they were. I probably put closer to a cup of cheddar in mine and only cut out 8 wedges. We will be eating these for years to come!
