Snickerdoodles II

Reviewed: May 9, 2009
These were great and will be made again and again! I took some of the other reviewers advise and made them with the following changes: (1) cooked them for 9 minutes at 375 degrees F; (2) used unsalted butter instead of shortening; (3) used 1 teaspoon of vanilla and only a half teaspoon of the cream of tartar, and (4) only used 1/8 teaspoon of salt.

This was super simple and wonderful! The only change that I made was adding extra hollandaise sauce.

Baked Spaghetti

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2009
This was awesome! I just made some simple changes per other reviewer suggestions: (1) I seasoned my beef with some garlic, oregano, and basil; (2) used half of the sauce in with the beef mixture, the other half used in between layers and (3) only used half the amount of ricotta cheese. This will definately be made again and again in our house.

Baked Soy Lemon Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2009
These were super simple and great! After reading some of the reviews, I made the following changes to the recipe: (1) only used 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, (2) upped the amount of Worcestershire sauce to 1/2 cup, (3) added a teaspoon more of the lemon juice, and (4) added about 1/4 teaspoon more of pepper. I let them marinate in the fridge for about 8 hours in a plastic bag. I then grilled them instead of cooking them in the oven. I cooked them on med-high heat for about 6 minutes on the first side and 4 minutes on the second side. They came out juicy and delicious. Will definitely be making these again!

Warm Greek Pita Sandwiches With Turkey and Cucumber-Yogurt Sauce

Loved this recipe and the sauce was great! I will definately use this sauce on other dishes. The only changed that I did make was reducing the onion amount down.

Taco Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
So simple and easy to make. Went over well in our house. I did follow some other reviewers suggestions and cooked the pastry 4 minutes under the recommended time. I also reduced the sour cream to about a third and mixed it with about a 1/2 cup of medium hot salsa before adding atop of the meat mixture.

I have made this twice so far and it is a huge hit! The second time that I made it, I used tilapia instead of the cod and I think they came out even better.

Crispy Orange Beef

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2009
This was a huge hit at our house! From reading other reviews I did go with doubling the sauce and it was perfect! The only other things that I did was add an extra tablespoon of orange juice and reduced the salt in half.
