Bodacious Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2009
I thought this was very good. I made it yesterday to go with dinner, and I'm eating the leftovers right now. I'm not a big veggie fan, but I love this! The only thing I would change is a little bit less vinegar- it's just a little strong.

Chocolate Mint Cookies I

Delicious!! They also got rave reviews from the people I shared them with at church. It doesn't say what size to make the cookies, but I used a 1 tbsp. cookie scoop, and it made a ton. I baked 5 dozen and there is still more dough leftover. They're great! Edited to add- it made 7 1/2 dozen (89) cookies. Next time I'll probably make half a batch!

Creamy Buttermilk Dressing

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2009
Very good basic dressing. I gave it 4 stars because it seemed a little too thick & didn't have a ton of flavor, but those could easily be fixed with a little more buttermilk & seasonings. We enjoy this recipe!

Creamy Italian Dressing I

I think this should be called Creamy Onion Dressing. If you really like the taste of raw onion, I'm sure you will love this dressing! Unfortunately I do not. I used about 1/4 cup of a white onion, and it was waaaay to strong for my liking.

Old Fashioned Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2009
I'm eating this right now (after making it for the first time), and it is delicious!!! I made it as-written and it turned out wonderfully. I used half skim milk and half 2%, and just under 1/2 cup of raisins (because that's all I had). I wasn't sure what pan size to bake it in, but what I picked (a glass 8x8 pan) was perfect. I chose to mix the cinnamon throughout rather than just sprinkle it on top. It is wonderful! I like that it uses ingredients I always have on-hand. I'm eating it warm, but I'm sure it would also taste good cold. This recipe is definitely a keeper!
