"Crispy edges, and chewy centers" are exactly how these cookies turn out. Snickerdoodles are my seven-year old's favorite cookie, and he has been bragging about these since we made them together! Let's just say a batch lasted about 24 hours... :)

I had 2 banana peppers from my garden, so I used those (tomatoes from the garden also) and 3 serranos. I also added 2 cloves of garlic and 3T tomato paste. Absolutely perfect! Except I think I should have doubled or even tripled the recipe because this is being gobbled up very quickly at my house! My family thinks it's better than at any Mexican restaurant!

This marinade was way too overpowering and not as spicy as I'd expected.
