We used Sweet Baby Ray's Honey BBQ sauce; my pieces used a combination of Sweet Baby Ray's Honey and the original Sweet Baby Ray's. The bacon didn't crisp when my mom did this recipe for us; she says she should have cooked the bacon half-way before doing the recipe. This was pretty simple, so such details count a lot. The saltiness of the bacon combined well with the sweetness of the BBQ sauce. Was served over brown rice with brocolli.

This is the second recipe I have used from this website, and the first time I've made baked apples. The sugary mixture smelled/tasted good, but it was pretty basic; everything else didn't really work out. I used fresh ingredients that all would have tasted delicious seperately, to make this overflowed mess of soggy, tasteless apples filled with mediocrity. I don't recommend this one. Someday, I'll try a different baked apple recipe. My mom tells me baked apples aren't meant to turn out like they did, though we followed the recipe closely, except for having used four small apples instead of two.

This is the first recipe I've used from this website, and I got a great first impression! Me and my family are pretty picky and we all LOVED this recipe! Healthy, filling, cheap, easy, and low in calories, this was perfect for us! The jack cheese was switched for cheddar, here; I think it would've turned out better had I actually used jack like the recipe said as the cheddar wasn't pronounced enough. Also, an additional half cup of chicken was used. Other than those changes, I followed everything else.
