Pork Chops to Live For

Broccoli with Garlic Butter and Cashews

This tastes like Chinese takeout, MMMM!!! Note: As others have advised, it's not necessary to use the full amount of butter called for in this recipe. Use half and you'll be just as satisfied! Also, next time I will try toasting cashews in an attempt to make a 'perfect 10' dish an '11!'

this was really good! the only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is because we regularly make the 'sangria, sangria!' recipe for all our parties (and we do host quite a few;) and it's just hard to beat. overall, take the advice of the other reviewers and add at least 1/2 more rum than noted in recipe. otherwise, this is great!

Irish Potato Candy

These have a great flavor, but there are a few things I changed. First, don't roll them in just cinnimon, as others have wisely suggested. Instead, I rolled them in finely crushed graham crackers and they tasted GREAT! Also, since I didn't have the patience to roll them into mini potatoes (way too time consuming), I simply made truffles. They still looked cute and were super yummy!

Tainted Fruit Shots

These were yummy! I made them with lime and orange Jell-O for St. Paddy's day and they were soooo good! However, if you're shooting for a sugar-free option, try another recipe alltogether, because sugar-free does NOT work.

Sangria! Sangria!

This is a staple at our parties (which my husband and I throw quite often)!! Even if it's technically 'out of season' or not really relevant to the current holiday celebration, our friends INSIST that we make this recipe! It's the best; I cannot say enough good things. The only alterations we made are to use limeade instead of lemonade and cherry brandy instead of regular...You won't be disappointed!

Sugar-Free Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce

My husband LOVED this bread pudding, and since we're both on a diet, we were happy to have a scrumptious dessert to kill our sweet tooth. The only thing I would change is the sauce. A little less whiskey will do the trick, as you can definitely feel the 'whiskey burn' if made as instructed! Great recipe though - Thanks:)!!!

Pleasant Pork Chops

This was my first attempt at cooking pork chops. Ever! I'm not much of a meat eater so I made these for my hubby. He LOVED them, but since he's overly concerned with the aesthetics of his food, he just couldn't get over the look of the sauce. He LOVED the pork chops, but next time I'll probably either leave out the sauce or try another recipe for sauce. Also, I didn't use a bay leaf but instead mixed some rosemary in with the paprika (as suggested in an earlier review). It gave the sauce a great flavor!

Light Wheat Rolls

This recipe was very, very good. They turned out soft and chewy. We served them with sweet cream butter (since the rolls themselves are not super sweet), and they were a hit! Will definitely make again.
