Boilermaker Tailgate Chili
AWESOME!!! We loved it! Finally a chili that my husband would not change. I altered the recipe a little. He is not a fan of tomato-ie chili and doesn't like a thick chili, so here is what I did... I did not add the tomato paste. I left out the celery. Instead of the green chili's I just added a can of chopped green chilis. I added 4 Tablespoons of bacon bits. I added a whole can of beer. I added about 2 Tablespoons of chili powder instead of the 1/4 cup. I did not add the hot pepper sauce. I thought it was a little thick, so I added a 12oz can of tomato juice and 12oz of water. It was perfect for our family. Even my son ate it up!

Mushroom Slow Cooker Roast Beef
This was a hit. I have made something similar, but without the beer. This time I used this recipe minus the mushrooms and added 4 beef bouillon cubes. My husband loved it! He said it was better than his moms, so it must have been good. This would also be good with some peppers in it I think.

Cheesy Goulash
It was pretty good. I did add salt, pepper, garlic powder and a little celery salt. I also added beef broth, because I thought it needed some moisture. I think it took a long time to prepare. It made way too much for my family of 5. It made a lot of dirty dishes too!
