I'm 28 years old and have been married to my wonderful husband for almost 5 years. I own my own store, which is a bead/funky boutique, that's been open for nearly three years. Sometimes it can be very stressful and this website has been a huge stress reliever for me. In my spare time I like to workout, run, bead, cook/bake, shop and spend time with my niece and nephew. I've always liked to cook but I've really gotten into it the past couple of years and love collecting recipes. I would have to say desserts are my favorite items to cook and eat! I especially like to bake cookies. I also enjoy experimenting with making a traditional recipe healthy. I've been told I'm best at making chili and lasagna (both recipes from this site). I only have one holiday cooking tradition and that's baking with my sisters and mom a couple weeks before Christmas. We make enough cookies and goodies to last until next Christmas. Perfecting my chocolate chip and snicker doodle cookies. Although I do consider anything that I make that tastes good to be a triumph. I've had many but don't let them slow me down.
