Slow Cooked Apple Brown Betty

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
All-n-all the recipe is easy to follow. As for taste, whats not to like about apples and brown sugar. Use your favorite cooking apple and you should be happy with it. As for the bread type topping, did not care for it at all. Would like to find a substitute that has a bit more texture.

Slow Cooker Sausage with Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2009
Of course I loved the sauce as it was our favorite and the sliced pepper and onions added just the right touch. However I didn't care for the sausage. It could of been the kind I chose. Next time I'll use a bratwurst or something similar. I'll will try it one more time. Wife wouldn't try it and because of my sausage choice I can only rate it a 3 star. (For now)

Campbell's® Healthy Request® Cajun Fish

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
An easy, nice, quick, little spicy (the red peppers) fish dinner. Nothing fancy about it, but a good taste. Wife had hers with white rice and I did the brown rice.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2009
A great easy way to get your dumplings on. The only variation I did was to cover with chicken broth instead of water. Oh yeah, I put the dough stuff on 90 minutes prior to serving. I loved it, my wife was OK with it.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2009
I myself am not a pot roast guy. My wife is and loved this recipe. She had 2 helpings and she never eats more than 1 helping of anything (she's a tiny girl). Pretty much followed the directions with the exception; I used 2 cans cream of celery, added 2 bay leaves, a couple splashes of Worcestershire sauce, and added the carrots and potatoes to the fixings 2 hours prior to serving. I'm not a cook in any type, but this was as easy as making ice. If I can do it, you should have no issues.
