Bewitching Chili
I was looking for a chili recipe that had a bit more of a beef flavor since I'm not a huge tomato person, and this one fit the bill perfectly! I followed the recipe as listed with a couple small changes. I tried the advice of another reviewer and replaced the peppers with a can of green chilis, but I would recommend using the peppers because I think they'd add more flavor and color. Also, I used half ground turkey and half ground beef, totaling about 2 pounds of meat which was a perfect amount. Lastly, I accidentally bought regular beef broth, and after realizing the recipe asked for concentrated beef broth, I simply used the can of broth I bought but also added 2 beef bouillon cubes to the bubbling chili (advice I got on Google). I took this to a super bowl party and everyone loved it. I will definitely make this recipe again!
