I'm a twenty-something grad student getting my M.S. in Mass Communications & Journalism. I also have a B.A. in English. I work for a small financial company and also work as a contributing writer for a community newspaper. I love: hawaii, vegas, tahoe (truckee), shopping, reading a good book, hiking and fishing, and an ice cold beer every now and then (paired with a basketball game or some reality tv)! I also love hanging out with friends, family, and my boyfriend. Where there's good food there's good company, and vice versa! Cheers! Pastas (especially carbonara- yum!), stir-fry w/oyster sauce, mexican food, spam musubi!! If you don't know what spam musubi is, you need a trip to hawaii ASAP! a blend of cultures at one table! From Japanese to American to Chinese to Mexican, it's really great to be sitting around the table with my family, especially during the holidays, and many of our friends (and friends of friends) can vouch for that! There are also some wine aficionados in my family, as well as beer fans, cocktail queens (me), and Scotch drinkers (dad). Baking! I'm especially proud of my Chocolate Marbled Cheesecake. A pumpkin bar for the holidays that I tried from this website, actually.... DISASTER!
