Sausage and Bow-tie Pasta Florentine

I made this the other night with collard greens instead of the spinach. I sprinkled a little Parmesan cheese on the top. It was very satisfying and rich. I would like to try this with tortellini next time. Thank You for a really nice dinner!

Kosher Salt Encrusted Prime Rib Roast

I have made this for several years and it is just about the Best way to make roast beef!! This method does not make the meat real salty. It has a nice salt flavor and with added herbs such as rosemary, it is truly a lovely dish for Christmas or any special occasion. Thank You Marbalet! I will of course do this again and again!

Lunch Lady Enchiladas

These are Awesome!! I used Mexican tomato sauce, it has a little jalapeno in it and packaged enchilada sauce mix. To this I added a sprinkle of smoked paprika I had on hand, to amp up the flavor. Wow! The family wishes I would make it tomorrow!

Spicy Whole Turkey - Grilled Turkey Recipe

I made this turkey for Thanksgiving and it was Awesome!! I used indirect heat and it turned out really moist and flavorful. I added spices under the skin. Hubby was not crazy about me doing it but i prevailed and it worked out great!

Simple Carnitas

Ken, These Rock!! I made them just as stated but forgot the bay leaves. I cooked them in the oven and then fried them after wards. They were just like I get at the Mexican market kitchen. I Finally found a true carnitas recipe! Thank You Thank You Ken!!

Fried Egg Sandwich

This is my kids's go to morning sammy. I have been making these for years and years! mayo and ketchup is all you need. I love adding different cheeses, jalapeno jack, Swiss, sharp cheddar. fast and tasty for those hurried mornings:)

Priceless Hillbilly Pie

This pie was really good!! I loved the chewiness of the oatmeal. I accidentally added 1 cup of 1/2 splenda and 1/2 regular sugar,instead of the 1/3 cup. I backed off of the brown sugar( I used splenda brown sugar) a little and it was just fine.It was diffidently a much cheaper pie and tasted fabulous just the same!! Thanks Arjherell. I will make this one again! :)

Cranberry Orange Relish with Orange Flavored Liqueur

I had high hopes for this. But that wasn't to be:( There was too much Grand Marnier. I used splenda and I should have used regular sugar. It needed more sugar then written. I am sorry.

Rib eye steak with creamy red wine sauce

I would have taken a photo of this Fabulous dish>> But I ate it! This was wonderful! I forgot to get shallots at the store and used chopped onions instead. The hubby thought the meal was great too! I served the steak sliced over wide egg noodles and poured the sauce over the whole thing. Made a salad on the side. Lots of flavor. Thanks for a very good recipe Patrick !! Good Job:) Patty

Mushroom Oven Omelet

Oh Barbara, you have out done yourself Sugar!! This breakfast casserole is Phenomenal! I didn't have bacon so I used turkey sausage instead and added 1 potato, onions and a can of green chilies to this. My mouth is singing your praises!! I served it with sour cream and sprinkled on cilantro and green onions. Add a dash of chipotle sauce and breakfast was a hit! Thank you Barbara for a really easy and delishious dish!! Pork Green Chile

This was really delishious! I had some pork that I cut up and added the ingreds to the pot including 1 bottle of beer to deglaze the pot after I browned the meat. I put the pot in the oven and went to work. Th meat was nice and tender when dinner rolled around and I served it over rice. I did add some Goya seasoning, for a little more salt.Thank You

I Don't Know

I love this title!! Perfect casserole for hard working MOMS. I had2 boxes of scalloped potatoes and canned milk. I added the cheese sauce mix and the milk to make up for my lack of cream of mushroom soup. This was tasty and rib sticking. Thank You Kristen

Grilled Fish Tacos with Chipotle-Lime Dressing

These were OK. There was way too much chipotle in the recipe so I cut it by half and added a little sugar for sweetness. The marinade was good. The dressing had the same flavors in it as the marinade and the spices,(cumin and chilie powder,) in it, were unnecessary. I like things simple. Thank You for giving us the opportunity to have a good fish taco Mabcat

No-Fuss Chicken

Thank You Mark for a wonderful and really No Fuss chicken!! I made mine on the stove with boneless chix legs. It was as easy as you said it would be. I dredged the chix, fried it. Took it out and made the gravy,cooked the flour taste out a little in the chix drippings before I added the chicken broth and put everyone back in the hot tub. I cooked it for about an hour on low and it was done! I served this over baked potatoes. I even have enough for lunch today!! Thanks again:)

Angel on Vacation

This is the easiest cake you will ever make! Tastes like a tropical holiday!! Sweet but not too sweet and very light! It is really versatile too. Add any kind of fruit you like, not a pineapple fan? No problem, use peaches instead.:) Use vanilla pudding over the banana if you wish. Try this! It is very yummy:) Thanks Patty cakes!

Poke Cake II

These cakes are soo fun and pretty to make. Any cake, pudding or jello can be used in countless combination's. Very refreshing and the kids love to help decorate it. Thank You Karin, I will make this again and again!

I thought this was Ok. I made the sauce as it said, but I used jalapeno jack cheese and sharp cheddar. Mine turned grainy and I whisked the Whole time adding the cheese a little at a time. I kept the sauce on simmer. Maybe I will try it again and use a different cheese. I also did not use the hamburger patties.,I used cooked beef chunks instead. Thank You for sharing:)
