I've been cooking since I was in grade school. I come from a long line of good cooks, so I'm trying to keep the tradition going! I have a sweet tooth, so baking is my favorite thing to do in the kitchen. I also like to decorate cakes. Christmas baking! I love making cut-out sugar cookies, christmas candy, fudge, etc. I made my husband's groom's cake for our wedding. It featured the university we both attended. It was a big hit! I had a run of bad luck with pies for awhile. Soggy crusts, separated fillings, burnt meringues...luckily I'm getting better.
