About this Cook
Hmmmm....about me. Well, I am 26 years old and a mother of two. I love to cook and constantly scour the internet, magazines and cookbooks for new recipes to add to my collection. I enjoy cooking anything and everything and have been at it for years.
My favorite things to cook
PIE!!!! I absolutely love baking. As far as cooking goes I love to cook it all. I adore old traditional recipes, but I find myself trying out a new recipe each week.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I am from the South so I will admit that there is a lil bit of the South in everything we cook. Thanksgiving is a 2-3 adventure in the kitchen. My mom and I put together way more food than our small family could possibly finish. But the leftovers are delicious, nothing goes to waste.
My cooking triumphs
As far as triumphs go I can cook/bake pretty much anything. If I have a good recipe at hand the outcome will be wonderful. Lately I have been baking birthday cakes for family members. I have really been branching out in my cake decorating and they look beautiful. I feel really great when I get to put in on the table for everyone to enjoy.
My cooking tragedies
Haven't really had any tragedies in the kitchen that I can remember. Well, short of the mixer throwing batter everywhere a few times. Other than that I spend alot of time on what I do. If the recipe looks like its missing something and not going to turn out correctly because of it I can usually tweak it in the process and pull it through.

Hot Pizza Dip
This dip is delicious with FRITO SCOOPS. It's the only way to go. My favorite local pizza place serves this dip with Scoops on the side. The salty corn chip really adds a lot to this dip. Especially paired with the cream cheese and pizza sauce.
