I am an ambivilent cook most of the time, it's more of a chore than a joy, and I want to change that. I have just recently been married and I want to make fine meals for my husband.
My favorite things to cook
Ethnic Foods: I would love to master Indian (American & Middle Eastern), and Thai. I cook great traditional Mexican and Southern comfort food.

My cooking triumphs
When I finally masterd cooking rice. Being from Charleston, with it's long history of being as mojor rice producer, it is served at almost every meal. And it was blasphemous that I could make a decent pot.
My cooking tragedies
I have always found it impossible to make a meatloaf that didn't fall to pieces as soon as I put it in the oven. I was actually reduced to tears one night when a boyfriend laughed at my meatloaf.
