A deliciously dense and sweet loaf. Try adding a couple of handfuls of chocolate chips. You won't regret it. This is my go-to banana bread recipe.

I thought it would never happen... but it did... This is the first recipe that I've tried from this site that was bad. VERY, VERY greasy. Topping is too sweet for the flavours (or lack thereof) of the cake. I should have listened to my instincts when I realized that the only liquid in the cake came from the oil. This is the first (and hopefully last) disaster that I've created from Allrecipes.

These were absolutely wonderful and I wouldn't change a thing. I was a little concerned that they would be tough when I first removed them from the oven but one bite convinced me - they are deliciously tender and I will absolutely be making them again! Perfect when you want something not-so-cloyingly-sweet.
