I'm a multimedia design and brand communications student. In my spare time I read, trawl the Internet and eat. I have an unhealthy obsession with tea and Ferrero Rocher. When I am not flooded with work (a rare occurrence) I enjoy cooking and baking.

Pasta dishes, pot pies, pizzas, Indian and Cape Malay style curries, poached fruit and mascarpone, bobotie, grilled lamb chops and various types of stew.

My cooking triumphs
I've become a master at homemade marinades and simple yet delicious desserts. For example, cinnamon poached peaches with mascarpone.
My cooking tragedies
I spent hours making a pot pie only to burn and destroy the entire crust within less than 10 minutes of it being in the oven. Fail.
