I'm from Utah and I come from a weird cooking background. My mother is a terrible cook and she'll be the first one to tell you that. My father is a pretty good cook as long it something kind of rough around the edges, if you want a good "everything but the kitchen sink" meal he's the one to call. We don't do anything fancy. I would like to try some new things and learn to be a better cook. I figured this site could help.

I love making navajo tacos. I do a pretty good job at kneading out scones (or as some people called it "fried dough").

I've never had any major tragedies but I have put in the wrong measurements of ingridients before, that is always a downer.
