Amazingly Easy Irish Soda Bread

I first made this recipe using half bread flour and half whole wheat pastry flour. It was alright, but when I made it the second time with all white bread flour it was fantastic. I baked it at the recommended temperature until the top started to brown and then reduced the heat to about 325 until it was done inside.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

oh so good! i replaced the eggs with 3/4 cup applesauce, used pastry white flour, and omitted the nuts. I baked for 60 minutes and probably could have cooked longer since it's still a bit gooey in the center - but that makes is sooo good. highly recommend this recipe!

Crispy and Creamy Doughnuts

great recipe. make sure that after you cut the doughnuts out that you let them rise an inch or two apart from each other on pieces of wax paper. sprinkle a good amount of flour on the wax paper to keep them from sticking.

so rich, chewy, delicious! I cannot say enough about this recipe - it's fantastic! the frosting was a bit hard to spread on so i added a bit of milk.

Almond Croissants

i will not be making this recipe again. in order to get the flaky layers that is associated with croissants you need to fold the dough in on itself several times. this recipe does not call for it, so followed the instructions and it turned out too doughy. Overall it was a pretty bland croissant.
