Im still a young cook, but I've been cooking for as long as i can remember. I learned from the best, my grandmother, whos a fantastic cook. I can only hope that when i get older i will have grandchildren that are excited to come to grandmas house to cook and eat fantastic food! I really love cooking desserts and home style cooking. I love comfort food, mashed potatos, noodles, and pies are favorites of mine. Anything that gives me that good home cooking feeling. I love waking up early on Thanksgiving and starting to cook at six o'clock. All the hard work is rewarded with a great meal that you anticipate all year long. I will always remember my first successful pie crust, after hours of searching for the perfect recipe, and many failed attempts, the reward was well worth the wait.
