I'm a total food tv show junkie -- Top Chef (doubleplus awesomness), the original Iron Chef, Restaurant Makeover, Cook Like a Chef, Molto Mario, Kitchen Nightmares, Unwrapped and the list goes on... I moved to Ottawa in Mar/09 and since then have been teaching myself to cook. Oddly enough, I'm not that good at my native cuisine which is Malaysian/Chinese. The thing I miss most about Vancouver besides the ocean and mountains is the food scene. You can only eat so much shwarma and Tim's before your hair and teeth start falling out. If anyone knows where to find good ethnic food here please let me know!
