About this Cook
There's not much to say about me. I'm happily married and expecting our first child. I grew up with 6 siblings. I like to be good at what I do but am not always patient when it doesn't come naturally or easily to me.
My favorite things to cook
Anything that I know will turn out yummy!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Christmas, each member of my family would get to choose a cookie and we would make them to eat and to give away.

Pear Honey Cranberry Sauce
I absolutely love this recipe. I have never made cranberry sauce before but I had some fresh cranberries I needed to use up (and some pears, luckily). SO GOOD! My husband's comment was "tart". But he didn't not say he didn't like it so that's a good thing.

Creamy Rice Pudding
This recipe tastes like what my mother made! I've tried several recipes looking for that taste. This is awesome as written. I've also made it with an additional 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tbsp cocoa powder at the very end. Yummy.

Breakfast Pita Pockets
My husband really liked this! Of course, he likes anything with bacon. But who doesn't? I think next time I would add some potatoes but that's just a personal preference.
