About this Cook
Married, 2 childen, one daughter, one son, one doggie.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook, it is like therapy to me. Very relaxing.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I don't really have any family cooking traditions of my own, just with my family (parents). Which I still participate in every year. I wish my children would take an interest in cooking, I would love to teach them. Occasionally my son will take over for the night, but it is always something simple. Hey, I'll take what I can get.
My cooking triumphs
Anything that my DH says that I am the Queen of....(blueberry pie, lasagna, etc.)
My cooking tragedies
Well, I guess my biggest problem is, I seem to wind up undercooking some cuts of meat....I know, it's fixable, and I think it's done enough, but, sadly no. We sometimes wind up finishing things in the microwave.

Best Ever Muffins
i made this as a savory muffin. the texture was very nice, however, it was a little on the bland side for us. i used cheddar cheese and jalapenos. i cut back the sugar to 1/4 cup; not sure if that is what the problem was. i will use this recipe again though for some sweet ones, and perhaps try it again for the savory. thanks

Authentic and Easy Shrimp Curry
this was very good. easy to make and delicious with a side of indian spiced rice. followed the recipe with the exception of the tomatoes, i used plain tomato sauce because i detest chunks of tomatoes in my food. i will make this again for sure! thanks RK for the post!
