These were good, and fairly easy to make, but I found them a little flat on flavor as compared to other Snickerdoodles I've had. I will make them again but follow the advice of other cooks and use butter flavored shortening. Also, a word of advice, be sure not to overcook them as they turn out very crunchy.

Great recipe...spiced just right....made it for my husband's office Thanksgiving lunch and it was a big hit...I did top it with cream cheese icing, which was the perfect finishing touch. Highly recommend!

I made this in my crock pot, cooking for about 4 hours...was very easy to throw together...I used raw chicken breasts cut into thin strips, and then shredded them with a fork after they turned tender...I did take advice from other reviews and added cumin and chile powder as it cooked...I served with sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese on top...served this for supper and had very little leftovers from my husband and two teenagers...will make again and probably double the quantities.
