I am the proud "parent" of two beautiful puppies, Bella & Maddie. I love cooking. I have been cooking since I was a kid (both of my parents are good cooks). I have been using this website for years, and finally decided to become a member. I absolutely love to cook for my friends and family! It's so fun to make something homemade for the people you care about! I also love crafting, and I have my own crafting blog: redheadedcrafter.blogspot.com I love desserts (cookies, cakes, ice cream, chocolate, etc). I'm a teacher so I like making treats for my students on special occasions. (and they like it too...) I like trying new recipes, and I discover A LOT of good recipes by using this website. I also enjoy cooking mostly in the winter, since our summer days reach over 100 degrees for weeks at a time. We like to grill a lot in the summer. My sister and I cooked Thanksgiving dinner a few years back, and everyone loved the food. We also make cookies every year at Christmas. I just like spending time with my family in the kitchen. The Thanksgiving dinner was definitely a triumph. I also feel great whenever a recipe turns out the way it is supposed to, and everybody enjoys it. I tried to make a chicken pot pie, and it turned out horrible. When I dumped it in the trash, it came out in one huge clump. I still have no idea what went wrong. YIKES!
