About this Cook
I am a 25 mother of a beautiful 9 month son! Will be starting Nursing school soon and just trying to get used to the state of Massachusetts. I love cooking and having just recently began to perfect my baking skills! Me and my boyfriend cook on a regular basis together and have had some of the best meals with each other as well.
My favorite things to cook
I am definitely an open book when it comes to recipes. I will pretty much cook anything that seems like it will be good lol. I do particularly enjoy cooking Italian foods, (spaghetti, lasagna, ziti). And like most human beings I love baking!!!! A little too much lol
My favorite family cooking traditions
An older family tradition would be helping my mom cut sharp chedder cheese for her famous Macaroni and Cheese (yes the baked way mmmmmmm!) I more recent cooking tradition is trying a new recipe off of allrecipes every day. We also like to throw a baking recipe in every now and then. Had to cut back on that dramatically of course lol
My cooking triumphs
Perfecting my lasagna and my first attempt at cheesecake! Turned way better than I expected.
My cooking tragedies
Ohhh man soo many! An attempt at making some bread back in my high school cooking class. Lets just say the bread didn't "rise" to the occasion! lol Was more like a brick!

My Country Style Steak
Very delicious! So flavorful from the onion soup mix. I added onions and mushrooms to mine and that added a nice touch.

Beef Tenderloin With Roasted Shallots
This was the first recipe I made from Allrecipes. I was pleasantly suprised. There were a lot of steps involved but the end result is soooo worth it! I ended up boiling off to much of the wine and it reduced more than I wanted it too but it was still awesome. Definitely a meal you could serve for an upscale party or even for a family night in. I have made this dish many more times and everyone is always sooo impressed!! Thanks Christine for posting such a wonderful recipe!
