I am married to a wonderful man and the mother of 3 hungry boys. My personal philosophy is "Food = Love" and I have spent 30 years practicing this by feeding my husband, my kids, my kids' friends, the cross-country and swim teams, the priests and youth ministers at our church, etc, etc, etc
My favorite things to cook
Simple food well-prepared. I especially like to cook chicken, soups, breakfast food, and potatoes of all kinds. I also enjoy canning my garden produce.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Making Rebel Bars for the kids and their friends.
Making the boys' favorite recipes when they come home to visit.
Baking lots and lots of sugar cookies for holiday eating.
Big breakfasts after church on Sunday.

Every time I prepare a tasty meal that is enjoyed by those at the table, I consider it a triumph.
