better clean the dishes right after making this one! My roommate slacked off and now candied chicken sauce is a permanent part of our frying pan! also, it was too sweet.

Since discovering this pie one month ago I have made it four times and every time has been a smashing success. The pie is now my signature recipe, so don't go telling people I didn't invent it or i'll be in big trouble! Even in the northeast where they don't know sweet potato pie from black-eyed peas, the pie has been hungrily devoured whenever I bring it to a party and disappears faster than a thing that disappears quickly when I make it for my roommates. I use pilsbury pie-crust-in-the-box and nuke the sweet potato for 10 minutes, and I can get the thing made in under 2 hours - such bliss!

Taking in mind that many people said they needed more liquid, I increased the amount of sauce by 50%. Still not enough. This recipe needs more sauce than indicated!
