Married for 20 years, a 17 yr. old daughter and 10 yr old twins (boy & girl) I have been cooking & collecting recipes ever since I was a kid. I love to cook and try new recipes, but I have to say that baking is my all time favorite thing to do. Cookies, cakes, breads,canides, etc....especially around the holidays. I love to pay special attention to details on my cookies....I put a little extra love in everything I make. So you know it is special and you are too :-) Definately pumpkin bread, Christmas cookies, coloring eggs and Easter Breads. Starting an after-school "Cooking Club" program at my twin's elementary school. I enjoyed teaching as much as the kids loved learning (and taking their creations home!) It was a huge success! Melting white chocolate in a microwave....I thought I hit the timer for one minute, when actually I hit an extra zero! The chocolate burned and smoked so bad that we had to bring the microwave outside to get rid of all the smoke in the kitchen,and we had not even opened it up! Yes.....and threw the microwave away.
