Fluffy Hot Chocolate
very good. not too sugary or chocolatey. i accidentally added my (imitation) vanilla along with everything else, and it turned out fine. the only thing that gives this recipe 4 stars instead of 5 is that the frothy part deflated before the drink was cool enough to drink; maybe i heated it too much, but it was delicious nonetheless!

Lemon Poppy Seed Chicken Pasta Salad
i love this recipe! i've made it many times, and it's nice for outdoors picnics, because there's no mayo, it doesnt need refrigeration (of course overnight, it's better). I omit the lemon juice and celery, and add crushed walnuts. I also ran a bit short on the dressing, so keep that in mind. one downside (and there's no way to avoid it) is that it doesn't refrigerate that well... it's fine for a day or two, but the penne really soaks up the dressing, and it can get a little dry. just keep that in mind, because this makes a lot of yummy salad!

Fast and Easy Pancakes
These really are super easy, but to reduce clean up, i'd definitely just whisk the ingredients in a mixing bowl instead of dirtying my blender. As for taste, they really are quite sweet. i'd reduce sugar to 1/3 cup i think. you already top pancakes with syrup or other sugary toppings like jam, so there really is no need for the pancakes to be as sweet as they are. these pancakes weren't fluffy like traditional pancakes, which i like, but if you want fluffy pancakes, these aren't the pancakes for you.
