I retired two years ago after 20 years as a District Attorney. I loved my job but I love retirement more. My husband and I have been married 26 years and between us we have 5 kids and 7 grandchildren. My number one hobby is traveling and then cooking.

My favorite family cooking traditions
Making Christmas cookies--my niece used to call the frosted ones "painted cookies"--so we still use that name to describe them. I once even had a District Attorney cookie party and all the lawyers made Christmas cookies.
My cooking triumphs
Not sure there are any triumphs--I just like to feed people.
My cooking tragedies
I still can't roll out a pie crust so that it will go over the rolling pin and right into the pan--mine always fall apart and my kids call them jig-saw pies--but they taste great
