Carrying on my Mom's tradition. Everyone sits down at dinner and talks about their day. We don't eat until we are all together. Mom to 3 ages 13, 14 & 15, married 17 years. Cooking is what I do and what I LOVE to do. Mexican, Italian, BBQ, lots of baking, enjoy canning and always have homemade salsa in the fridge. I enjoy having my kids in the kitchen. They have been baking Christmas cookies with me since they were small. Each one has their own specialty. Mastering my beloved Mom's macaroni salad from memory. My mom's been gone 2 years and my dad LOVES when I surprise him with a batch. Just the smell brings back so many summertime memories. too many to list. Maybe the missing acrylic nail in the 1990,s that showed up in a jello fruit salad I was serving at a potluck.
