Peach Cobbler Dump Cake I
I liked this recipe because it was so easy! I did not use a full stick of butter. (Probably used 5.5 tablespoons) Also, I added some brown sugar. I thought it tasted pretty good, as did my friends. However, most of us agreed that it felt heavy and I personally thought it tasted a bit too sweet. Next time, I will use the peaches in light syrup, or fresh peaches, and I will not add the brown sugar. I think I might also mix the cinnamon into the cake mix itself and sprinkle some extra on top. Overall, good recipe, but I will make it next time with the above changes.

Playgroup Granola Bars
I followed the recipe exactly, except I used only 1/2 cup of brown sugar, and I substituted the raisins for about 3/4 cup dried sweetened cranberries and 1/4 cup slivered almonds. I also baked them for about 25 min. The texture was more cookie-like than I expected, and they were also too sweet for me. (I'm used to the sweetness of bars like the Kashi trail mix flavor). Otherwise, the flavors in this recipe were very good. I will make these again, but will use maybe only 1/3 cup or even 1/4 cup of the brown sugar, and perhaps use chopped or whole almonds instead of slivered (for more crunch). I think I would also bake them for the recommended time of 30-35 minutes. I might even add some rice krispy cereal, like another member suggested, for more textural variety.
