I had never used royal icing before and I absolutely loved it. It was just perfect for my sugar cookies.

Not hard in the least bit. I bought Alphabet Cookie Cutters from JoAnns and with this recipe made about 40 cookies. On accident I added 4 cups instead of the recommended 3, however, it felt as though something was missing while I ate them. The dough was wonderful to work with (however to some it has been a downfall) I chilled it for about 2 hours and when I got it out it was perfect. Something I would try again, but again, it tasted like something was missing/wrong?
