Great recipe - was a hit with everyone who got to sample them. Not sure why, but I haven't made Snickerdoodles in years. Well I can assure you it won't be years - now that I found this recipe.....

This is a great recipe - I made a batch of these and entered them at our county fair. I took 3rd place. Not bad considering there were lots of peanut butter cookies entered and the 1st place cookie took best cookie overall.

A great cookie - I entered it at our county fair and won 2nd place. My son thought he should have been allowed to taste the 1st place entry - because he said "there is no way their cookies were better than yours". I must admit they were great. I also made a batch and left the cocoa out - these weren't entered at the fair, but I had trouble keeping my mom out of them. I do agree that you need to come to a full boil and then boil for one minute.
