About this Cook
I'm 28 years old and have been married for over 5 years. I grew up with a mother who has an infatuation for cooking and baking so therefore I shunned learning to cook until I went to college. I discovered Allrecipes.com before I became married and have fallen in love with cooking and trying new recipes. I now understand why my mother loves to cook so much. It's a great joy to watch people enjoying something you've made.
My favorite things to cook
I am the grill master at my house. Ever since I was "taught" how to make perfect coals I won't let anyone else touch my grill. I love making fish, chicken and veggies.
My favorite family cooking traditions
There are no family cooking traditions for me. We like to make new things at the holidays but eveyone has to help out.
My cooking triumphs
Anytime I make a perfect medium-rare steak for my hubby. I know when it's perfect because he won't reach for the steak sauce.
My cooking tragedies
I'll never tell ;) but they almost always involve baking.

Chicken Breasts with Lime Sauce
Very yummy! Only change we made was to use the Panko bread crumbs. I think this chicken would also be very good on a salad.

Chicken Breasts in Caper Cream Sauce
Very tasty! Added about 3/4 cup of white wine to the sauce to add a bit more flavor.
