I grew up with a mother who has an infatuation for cooking and baking so therefore I shunned learning to cook until I went to college. I discovered Allrecipes.com before I became married and have fallen in love with cooking and trying new recipes. I now understand why my mother loves to cook so much. It's a great joy to watch people enjoying something you've made. I am the grill master at my house. Ever since I was "taught" how to make perfect coals I won't let anyone else touch my grill. I love making fish, chicken and veggies. There are no family cooking traditions for me. We like to make new things at the holidays but eveyone has to help out. I'll never tell ;) but they almost always involve baking.
