IM 32 years old, with a loving husband and two great girls, ages 10 and 12. I love animals, reading, writing, hanging out with the family and good times in the kitchen! My hubby and i like to cook together at least twice a week. I love changing things around and making new tasts! Once a week invite my mother in law, brother in law, and aunt in law over to try a new recipe! Most of the time its great! but once in awhile.. we have sandwiches!! I am the baby in a family of 8 people, and the one chore i hated more than anything in the world was washing dishes.. so i started learning how to cook side dishes, then main dishes and by the time i was 8 years old, i was cooking for my entire family every night! And since the cook didnt have to do the dishes, i was THRILLED! Probably my very first Thanksgiving for my ENTIRE family! It was the largest meal i ever cooked, and i actually got everything on the table about the same time and it was all still nice and hot! (and my corn puddin didnt fall, despite the 15 kids running around!) It was for a total of about 50 people and consisted of 3 turkeys, 2 hams and 15 side dishes, along with snacks like deviled eggs and cheese ball with crackers! Took me 3 days, but i did it! Well, since i have been cooking since i was a kid, i cant say i have had too many tragedies, but i hate to burn anything! oh that really makes me mad!!
