Grilled Pork Chops
About this Cook
27 year old gal who loves the important things in life... my Lord and Savior, husband (Cameron), and baking! Grand dream of my husband and I's is to own a restaurant and/or bakery. I'm looking forward to testing some recipes on here. There's so much to choose from, though!
My favorite things to cook
I do like to cook, but baking is my favorite. Cookies and cakes are the ultimate stress reliever... challah bread is next on my list!
My cooking triumphs
On our first year anniversary, I made my husband steak au poivre. It was sooo good and came out just as Ina Garten made it!
My cooking tragedies
Nothing too tragic... just ended up with a few burnt batch of cookies and loaves of banana bread once.

Cream Cheese Pound Cake III
SO good. Think next time, though, I'll cut the sugar down by 1 to 1/2 a cup. Other than that, it was a simple, delicious cake... didn't add any toppings to it. And the crust on top - to die for! Thanks for sharing :)

Toffee Caramel Squares
Very, very good dessert bar! I agree - the caramel does need to set for about 10 minutes prior to pouring the chocolate on top. Instead of making these in a pan, I used a mini muffin tin. Very tedious, but so cute! The only change I made to this was to omit the shortening from the melted chocolate topping... really no need for it, IMO. Will keep this in regular rotation!

Cream Cheese Corn Bake
Pretty good recipe, but definitely needs a little sprucing up. I added some fried bacon and onions and added the entire can of green chilis. It was really good the next day. Not sure how often I'll use this, but it's definitely better than regular corn. Thanks!
