Married to my high school sweetheart, I have been cooking since I got out of college and have been going ever since. Recently, slow cooking is my newest interest since I work two jobs.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies
Really yummy and easy to make! I used half cup white sugar and half cup brown sugar and I also added a teaspoon of vanilla and 1 teaspoon of baking soda. They turned out great!

Slow Cooker Oatmeal
This was a great way to make oatmeal. I was unsure about making it beacause of all the people who had problems but mine turned out great. I used my Little Dipper since I only had rolled oats and not steel cut. I put a liner in, added a half cup of oats and one and a half cups of water and let it cook overnight. 11 pm to about 9 am. When I lefted the top the oatmeal was creamy soft and wonderful. I will make this again and again for mornings during the week when I am running out the door for work.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread
I loved this bread! This will be a fall staple year after year! I found the sweetness just right. I didn't change a thing. Thanks for the great new addition to my recipe box.
