Excellent recipe. My husband, daughter and sons absolutly loved this lasagna. I doubled the recipe to get two pans and it worked great. Frozen some for another day. However, w/the boys, I don't think it is going to last very long.

Adding the macaroni is a great idea and adds to this receipe. I do not usually deviate from the recipe. However, I made this once before and it was missing something, so I added a can of mushroom soup, a little more water to the mix and added a layer of cheese before topping with potatos. The husband loved it.

These are awesome. I've made them twice and each time my family goes back for seconds and with no left over. I made extra this past weekend and took over to my father-in-law who raved about them. My son and his two friends chowed down on them. Of course, no left overs. They are that good. Very good recipe.
