My name is Connie and I live in NEw York City, in Queens. I am recently married and have a great family here in New York and in Spokane, WA. SOme of my favorite things to cook are very simple things. I love a a great pot roast. Lemon curd or any sort of custard are fun to make because it just seems like magic....you start with sugar, eggs, butter and some sort of fruit or flavoring and in a few minutes you have this very yummy stuff. Risotto....and making a good salad is always an accomplishment...... I have always enjoyed pot luck dinners with my family.....everyone has a specialty and you can always look forward what they serve..... I make an amazing apple crisp (or peach or whatever is in season) and I make very good risotto. I can always make a perfect roasted chicken......and lemon curd.....these are the things that people say they love to eat when I make it for them..... I made a tagine once and it was a complete mess......I did not get from the recipe that I chould cook the couscous in a different pot....scary and not edible.
