Married with 3 teens and only my son loves to cook like I do. My oldest dtr can barely get by and the middle dtr will try every now and then. I have always loved to cook since I was little. I had 2 wonderful grandmas that taught me most of what I know. My mother took classes at Antoinette Pope in Chicago though you wouldn't know it =). I own a little over 100 cookbooks - wish I had more time. I love to bake and cook Italian foods. I will tackle just about anything. When I was 19 I had my own cake business, I was big into Wilton and cake pans. Taught myself. Ah my mothers spagetti gravy recipe. At holidays, you always have the pasta first and it had to be her gravy. Kolatches were a must at every Christmas gathering. Definately would have to be a wedding cake for 200 people! This is too easy. I made a cake when I was 9 yrs old for my father. He loved coconut, so I used an entire bag and tinted it and put it on top. Dad ate the whole thing, later revealing how overwhelming all of that coconut was!
