Easy Meatloaf

Excellent recipe! We all loved this recipe! I followed the directions exactly with the exception of using ground turkey instead of beef. YUMMY! This is definitely a keeper.

Southern Candied Sweet Potatoes

Awesome recipe! I usually make my candied "yams/sweet potatoes" the same way. However, I wanted to try something a little different and I'm so glad I did. This is definitely a keeper. Oh, I only used 1 cup of sugar and yams instead of sweet potatoes (all I had on hand). We re-make using sweet potatoes.

Irish Cream Bundt Cake

Awesome, moist, must make again cake! Made for Thanksgiving and the family LOVED it. Added mini chocolate chips to the pecans for the topping. Didn't make any other modifications. Will definitely make this time & time again. Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe.

Golden Rum Cake

Awesome moist, must make again recipe!!! Family and friends raved over this cake. I'm not a drinker and could only sample a pinch and it was very moist and "rummy". Will definitely recommend to make again. Thanks for sharing this awesome recipe.

Sam's Famous Carrot Cake

Awesome carrot cake even after adding an additional cup of coconut by mistake. Would definitely recommend. I used this recipe for Thanksgiving. I made mini bundt carrot cakes. Yummo!

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Made according to the modifications of the top reviewer; excellent! Instead of vanilla extract I added vanilla bean paste which made it have a very good vanilla flavor. Used with Sam's Famous Carrot Cake. Will make again.

Five Flavor Pound Cake I

Just baked this cake tonight. I used a 12 cup angelfood pan and there was no overflow and the cake did not stick. I used Baker's Joy to coat the pan. I took the advice of so many others and did not make the glaze. Loved the crusting of the cake. I used almond in place of butter. My hubby couldn't taste the different flavors though I could somewhat. Are the extracts everyone using all natural, imitation or mixed. This is a good cake and would be a good base for a 1 flavor styled cake. I would make again.

Anniversary Chicken I

My DH and I really enjoyed this dish. As many had suggested, I put the bacon(turkey) on top of the chicken during the last 15 min. or so. I paired the chicken with asparagus and angel hair pasta mixed with tomatoes, olive oil, seasonings, crushed garlic and green onions. YUMMY!!! Will make again. Also shared with co-worker; she loved it.

Southern Praline Pecan Cake

Excellent cake! Made it exactly as the recipe stated. Very moist! I did experience the crumbling as did my tasters (co-workers) but they all loved it. Wanted more. Will try a second time with the suggested decreases in oil & water. Very easy and bakes nicely.

Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Delicious!!! I took some of the suggestions and substituted Parmesan for Feta; added sundried tomatoes; used fresh spinach and sour cream instead of mayo. I used two slices of Maple Turkey Bacon and cooked uncovered. The chicken produced quite a bit of liquid which I spooned over the rice served w/ the dish. Also seasoned chicken w/ garlic powder and pepper. YUMMY!!

Garlic-Lemon Double Stuffed Chicken

I loved this dish! I took the suggestions of others and cut the cream cheese but made sure it was spreadable. I used the pre-sliced cheddar snack slices which worked perfectly. I also increased the lemon. Yummy! The flavors blended very well. I will be making this dish again.

Awesome Honey Pecan Pork Chops

This is definitely a keeper! Since we do not eat pork, I used turkey breast cutlets and it was delicious. I incorporated some suggestions: cut into chunks, added maple syrup and seasoned my meat before flouring. Not too sweet at all. Yummy!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

What do I say?! This dish was simply OUTSTANDING!!! My husband loved it. He was sure there was crab somewhere (now that's a thought). I think it was the parmesan taste. I must say, I found this dish 20 minutes before I was to begin cooking and what a treasure it was. I included some of the suggestions (garlic powder, old bay, paprika) and it was just delicious. I will definitely, w/o a doubt, make this dish again. And maybe add a little crab. Yum!

Special Buttercream Frosting

I love the taste of this buttercream!!! I followed the suggestion of others to use 1c shortening and 1c butter and only 5/6 c sugar. My only issue...a little too soft compared to what I'm used to. Any ideas on how to stiffen up some?

Spicy Chipotle Turkey Burgers

This is a great recipe! My husband and I enjoyed our burgers. As some of the previous reviews stated, I would add another chipotle pepper for a little more spice, and I eliminated the water and made various other substitutions. Instead of cooking on an outdoor grill we used the George Foreman. I did add shredded mozzarella to the center of some of the burgers and that was nice added surprise for my husband. I will definitely be making this again!
