About this Cook
As a newly-wed, who made it through my twenties on bowls of cereal and peanut butter sandwiches, I wasn't very adept to cooking meals! However, my husband Jason is hungry by nature, and requires a little more. So, to his delight, I have been experimenting with some recipe modifications.
My favorite things to cook
Eggs & Bacon; Pasta; stir fry vegetables with noodles;
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother makes a delicious gingerbread! Her favorite thing to do with the mixture is to make mini muffins - wonderful with a cup of coffee! I would love to snag her recipe and treat my family.
My cooking triumphs
Crab Alfredo: my version of "Mac and Cheese" Boil Healthy Harvest noodles, heat up half a jar of an Alfredo Sauce of choice, and stir in Crab Classic. Add herbs and black pepper to taste, and pour over noodles. So easy, and so delicious! Jason was totally wowed when I fixed it for him, for the first time! Egg and Bacon Breakfast tacos - key: don't heat the tortillas in a greased pan, or the result will be an oily, soppy mess! Swiss cheese scrambled eggs with rosemary and black pepper mixed in;
My cooking tragedies
Omelets that resembled pancakes; pancakes that were so dry, they were more like english muffins; the time I tried to make Zattarain's Rice and Beans, and left it on the stove too long - we just had cereal, that night; That is all I can remember, and Jason is too sweet to remind me of other mishaps: Although, I can assure you, there are many more!

Basic Margarita
My niece whipped this up at a party last night, and it was sublime! I like the pleasant tartness of the limeade - it kept the cocktail from being too sweet and syrupy... However, adding frozen fruit to the mix would make it the 5 Star Drink of the Year.
