Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff
This recipe is golden! I knew it would be great an hour or so while cooking in my slow cooker. The aroma was fantastic! The only addition I made was adding sauteed onions mentioned in earlier reviews. At the beginning I put some chicken stock in with the chicken, dry salad dressing and sauteed onions because I was concerned that the chicken would dry out. I also added some fresh garlic at some midpoint during the cooking. At the end, about an hour before serving, I whisked 4 ounces of fat free cream cheese with a can of Cream of Chicken Soup (the low fat version)with a splash of milk. Will make it again and again!!!!!!!!!!
