About this Cook
I am a college student at UW Madison but I like to dabble in cooking/baking as much as I can and as cheaply as I can. I am a runner, a biology major, and an avid reader (fiction mostly).
My favorite things to cook
I like to dabble with everything. I don't always have the money to buy new ingredients so everyday is a challenge of what I can do with the few things I have on hand.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My parents are both from Poland so we have a lot of old Polish recipes that we use, especially on the holidays. Pierogi, bigos, kielbasa just to name a few but the habits of Polish cooking run deep in me so that tends to influence what I make.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Muffins
These were amazing. If you know when to add, when to stir, when to soak, etc, these will turn out fantastic. If these muffins turned out poorly for you, one of your ingredients was likely lackluster or you did not make them correctly. If you're afraid it will be dry, add a little fat-free sour cream and they will be more moist than you even bargained for.
