Country Apple Dumplings
so yummy. I couldn't believe how easy these were to make. I found the dumplings to be very rich and indulgent with all the butter that is used, so I only allowed myself to have one or two, and ended up giving the rest away.

Mom's Secret Recipe Beef Stew
One of the best homemade beef stews I've ever had. Toward the end I was worried the stew wouldn't thicken, so I did add about a teaspoon or so of cornstarch to thicken it, other than that, I followed the recipe exactly as it is.
