Honey Oatmeal Bread II

I am a novice at bread baking so my first attempt at this recipe was not successful. My dough would not rise, and the end result was a really dense/yeasty tasting mess. After reading some helpful hints on this site, I attempted again and was really pleased with the outcome. Not only did it look beautiful, but it sliced great and was really enjoyable toasted with alittle butter. Thanks for an easy recipe and a great learning experience. I will bake this bread again!

Apple Breakfast Bread

I just had a piece of this bread and it is really good. After reading the reviews I added 2 tablespoons of olive oil and one teaspoon of allspice in lieu of the clove. I also used one cup of whole wheat flour mixed with one cup white flour. This bread is very moist and very tasty, not to mention the wonderful aroma it left in my home. I will definitly prepare it again.

Best Ever Blueberry Cobbler

After reading all the 5 star reviews, I decided to try this recipe. I thought the cinnamon was a nice touch, so I added a tablespoon to the berries. This was a simple recipe and it had a simple taste as well. My family thought it was good but I did not get the feeling that they loved it. I though it was just OK..and I don't understand all the applause.

Arugula, Fennel, and Orange Salad

I prepared this dish for the 4th of July. I used my garden grown arugula which made it extra special. I also substituted canned manderin oranges for fresh and added balsamic to the dressing. A great dressing to the best tasting greens ever.

Tuna Macaroni Salad

I made this recipe for the 4th of July. I used one pound of pasta and drenched the pasta in 8oz. of bottled Italian dressing for 5 hours. After adding all the ingedients, I found it alittle too "saucey" so I added a tomato and an extra can of tuna. I received more compliments on this dish and it made me very happy!
