Chicken Pot Pie VIII
This was sooo good! A slam dunk all the way around. I used a store bought pie crust as I cant make one to save my life, and it made a huge deep dish pie with filling left over. Next time I will make 2 smaller pies. Also threw in a handful of frozen peas. Perfect! Hubby requested that I make it again...

Apple Bread
Wonderful! I used 1/2 tsp of nutmeg like some other users suggested and also subbed 1 cup of applesauce for the oil. I missed the part of the instructions where it said to peel the apples, so left the skin on mine and it was fantastic. Gave it a bit of texture and also a fiber boost. I had to cook it a bit longer than the recipe called for, but this bread was delish and my family and I loved it! Will make again for sure!

Chicken in Mushroom Sauce
My family loved this. I did make a couple of changes, which is the reason for the 4 star rating instead of 5. After reading the reviews I did 2 cans of soup; one healthy choice cream of mushroom and one healthy choice cream of chicken and doubled the sour cream (and used light). Also wrapped the chicken in bacon to cook it and then at the end I pulled out the chicken and bacon, chopped it all up, and returned it to the crock pot while I boiled up some egg noodles, which I served the chicken and sauce over. Not the healthiest meal ever, but oh boy was it rich and yummy. My family loved it, will make again.
